Satyamev Jayate 2 Review {4.0/5} and Review Rating

Satyamev Jayate 2 The story of a family’s fight against corruption. Satya Balram Azad (John Abraham) is the Home Minister in the coalition government in Uttar Pradesh. He tries to pass an anti-corruption bill in the assembly but his own coalition partners oppose. Interestingly, one of the MLAs who voted against the bill is Satya’s wife Vidya Azad (Divya Khosla Kumar). She is the daughter of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Prakash (Harsh Chhaya). Meanwhile, doctors of a government hospital in the state have gone on strike. A mother pleads with him to take care of her daughter who has been a victim of an accident. The doctor leading the strike refused. The victim died in front of the protesting doctors and the media. That same night, a janitor (John Abraham) kills the doctor leading the strike in revenge. Due to his death the strike was called off. The watchman becomes a hero overnight. Chandra Prakash is not impressed and asks DCP Upadhyay (Anup Soni) to find the culprit. The DCP assigns the matter to Satya Balram Azad’s twin brother Jai Balram Azad (John Abraham). On the other hand, another scandal has shook the state as several children fall ill after having food in a madrasa. There is a shortage of oxygen cylinders in the government hospital where he is admitted. So 40 of them children die. Satya learns that the spoiled food grains were supplied by a relative of Tripathi (Daya Shankar Prasad). and is a close associate of Shankar Prasad (Zakir Hussain), responsible for supplying oxygen to the government hospital. Tripathi and Shankar are both from the alliance party and they threaten to withdraw support if Satya comes forward. Now it has come to the fore that the watchman is none other than Satya. He now kills both Tripathi and Shankar. A few days later, there is a third incident when a flyover collapses in the state. Flyover contractor Madan Lal Joshi (Rituraj Singh) refuses to take responsibility. Jay and the others conclude that he is about to be killed on a vigil. What happens next forms the rest of the film.

Movie Review Satyameva Jayate 2

The story of Milap Milan Zaveri is broader than expected. He has touched upon many issues, many of which are of concern to the common man. However, a lot of issues are presented in the second half and they come out as standalone issues.

Milap Milan Zaveri’s screenplay is very engaging. The script is such that the film is never dull or dull. From beginning to end, something constantly happens. The dialogues of Milap Milan Zaveri are clapping. There are some powerful one liners in almost every sentence and it’s really commendable.

Milap Milan Zaveri’s direction is paramount and it is clear that he has evolved. It is not an easy film as it has three characters, all of whom are played by an actor and moreover, it is considered in a very commercial way. Some scenes are exceptionally executed. Actually Jai Balram Azad’s entry, interval point, Dadasab Balram Azad’s (John Abraham) fight sequence etc. will create panic in theatres. On the flipside, while the first half moves like a rocket, the second half falls a little short. The Karva Chauth scene slows down the narrative. Also, this film may not be everyone’s cup of tea as it is a complete mass film in every way.

Satyamev Jayate 2 starts off with a bang without wasting any time. The scene of the assembly is shaking but the movie gets better as Satya alerts and later kills the corrupt leaders. Jai’s entry is a highlight and is perceived by the way the national anthem is incorporated. The turning point in the gap comes in the form of a bolt out of the blue. The flashback part of Dadasab after the interval is interesting. After this the film falls but picks up pace in the finale.

Satyamev Jayate 2 is totally one John abraham Display. The actor has pushed himself and has played all the three characters brilliantly. Each character stands out, but the cop is the one where he plays in the gallery and will be liked by the public, followed by the farmer one. Divya Khosla Kumar looks stunning and delivers a capable performance. Harsh shadows are decent. Anoop Soni doesn’t get much scope. Daya Shankar Prasad and Zakir Hussain are good. Gautami Kapoor (Suhasini) leaves a tremendous impression. Rajendra Gupta, Shaad Randhawa, Sahil Vaid, Salim Shah, Bhagyashree Limaye and others gave able support. Nora Fatehi is looking very hot these days.

Movie Review Satyameva Jayate 2 00

The music of the film is fine. ‘Kusu Kusu’ Already a chartbuster. ‘Tenu Lehenga’ comes at a great turning point. ‘Jan Gano’ Value’ Very poignant. ,you are my life‘ is the best song from the album and is romantic. Sanjay Choudhary’s background score is loud but it works well for the film. The theme of Dadasab is memorable.

Dudley’s cinematography is apt. Amin Khatib’s action is one of the highlights of the film. But in some places it is raw and quite bloody. Priya Suhas’s production design adds to the appeal of the film. Akshay Tyagi’s costumes are realistic as well as glamorous. Nora Fatehi’s costume (by Sandeep Khosla, Abu Jani) is quite hot. The VFX from Futureworks and Variate Studio is neat. The editing of Mahir Zaveri in the first half is fine but could have been better and sleeker in the second half.

in totality, Satyamev Jayate 2 is a power packed mass entertainer, and is graced with some extremely entertaining moments and a scintillating performance by John Abraham. At the box office, it has the potential to open big and sustain well in the long run.
