TADAP Review {2.5/5} and review rating

TADAP telugu movie rx 100 . is the official remake of [2018], Ajay Bhupathi’s story is simple in the first half but the twist in the second half is unexpected. Rajat Arora’s screenplay is catchy. RX 100 was a long film but Rajat has shortened the story at many places for better effect.

He also added some interesting scenes; The scene where Ishaana and Ramisa exchange books is an example of this. On the other hand, there is nothing new in the first half and it can test the patience of the viewers. Also, Ishana’s passion is not convincing or even logical.

Rajat Arora’s dialogues are impressive. He is known for writing memorable one-liners and impressed the film with some sharp dialogues.

Milan Luthria’s direction is simple and entertaining. He has treated the film in such a way that audiences from all sections of the society and all centers can relate to it. While the basic narrative is similar to that of RX 100, the Telugu film was far more violent. Milan has done its best to minimize the bloodshed and yet ensure that the desired effect occurs.

Some scenes are very well acted like Ramisa hugging Ishana or Ishana’s grand entry. NS ‘More than you too’ The song also grabs attention and the resemblance made between the two different situations is to be believed. The twist comes in the form of a bolt from the blue but once the suspense is revealed, the film again falls a bit.

The finale is thrilling but may not be acceptable to all sections of the audience. And the biggest problem is that the film feels old. It would be difficult for the audience to accept that in today’s world a boy can be so obsessed with a girl.

TADAP has an exciting start. After the initial fight, Ishaan’s entry set the mood. Viewers will be curious to know why Ishana is so angry and this hatred for Damodar. Some scenes in the flashback part are different but overall, the first part is weak as it is cliche.

The second half started well but ran out of steam after a point. The way Ishaana becomes obsessed with Ramisa and tries to snatch her away, it leaves the audience stunned. The twist in the tale thankfully saves the day. The final fight and finale will leave the audience divided.

TADAP Review, Tadap Public Review | Ahan Shetty | Tara Sutaria | Milan Luthria

Ahan Shetty made a confident start. He is a bit tough in some scenes but shines very well in many places. In the second half it is even more so. The climax gives him a ripe opportunity to show off his acting skills and he succeeds to a great extent. Tara Sutaria is a revelation. She gives a fine performance, very different from her performance in her previous two films.

Saurabh Shukla is adorable while Kumud Mishra is dependable. Sumit Gulati (LOL) is poor. Saurav is an important part of Chakraborty (Guthali) and he does very well. The actors who play Rajesh Khera (Inspector Negi) and Kashinath and Ramisa’s grandmother don’t get much scope.

Pritam Chakraborty’s music is of chartbuster type. ‘More than you too’ Already furious and comes at a turning point in the film. same goes ‘In your Shiva world’, ‘Hoe Ishq Na’. ‘You will be mine’However, forgettable. Jon Stewart Eduri’s background score gives the film a commercial feel.

The cinematography of Ragul Herian Dharuman is apt. The locations of Mussoorie, Rishikesh and single screen theaters have been shot well. Ajay Vipin’s production design is apt. Stephen Richter, Vikram Dahiya’s action is mildly violent, and will add more appeal to the film. Rohit Chaturvedi’s costume is charming. The ones worn by Saurabh Shukla stand outside. Rajeshji Pandey’s editing is good.

Overall, TADAP rests on some well executed sequences, shocking twists and a decent start by Ahan Shetty. However, the clichéd and outdated story is a major aspect of the film. It will prove to be an average fare at the box office.
